The OPEN Thunderbirds Tryout will take place Saturday, January 18th, 2025. This is an all-inclusive tryout open to all players of skills, backgrounds, gender, race, ethnicity, and religion. This is your chance to test your ultimate skills against the Thunderbirds.

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to attend.
You must also receive a passing physical from your personal care physician or have had a physical in the past 365 days in order to participate. The Thunderbirds, in partnership with Doctor's Pain Clinic, will give participants the option to receive this service for $15.00 should they not have a physical.
We will be sending an email out before tryout with the following information:
- What to expect from the tryout
- Player survey to gather more information about your abilities
Bring cleats, a water bottle, and a great attitude!

The Pittsburgh Thunderbirds 2024 Base Set Series 1 Trading Cards are the first collectable card set in organizational history. There are 30 cards to collect, featuring 4 rookies, 1 alumni card, 1 coaches card, and a rare amount of special autographed cards that can only be obtained inside the Series 1 Trading Packs.
Each golden foil pack comes with eight (8) 2024 Base Set Series 1 cards that are randomly selected and sealed.
All orders will ship in early October.

Founded in 2015, the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds is a professional Ultimate Frisbee organization in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA). The team is part of the Central Division and plays against the Detroit Mechanix, Minnesota Wind Chill, Indianpolis AlleyCats, Madison Radicals, and Chicago Union. The UFA 12-game season commences in April and ends with the UFA Championship in late August.
